More control in hygiene-critical environments
When media, temperatures, cleaning processes and quality requirements need to work together over time, documentation and material selection become an active part of operations. TESS delivers hygienic hose assemblies, tri-clamp solutions, stainless steel fittings and customer-tailored assemblies for the food and process industry. We specialize in customer-specific solutions based on your requirements and needs for, among other things, CIP/SIP processes, food production and demanding process environments, where lifespan, ease of cleaning and stable operation all matter to overall production. At the same time, we focus on reducing unplanned stops, simplifying maintenance and ensuring stable process conditions in day-to-day operations.
We prepare drawings, parts lists, batch documentation and material certificates according to the customer’s specific configurations and quality systems. At the same time, we ensure traceability of stainless materials in contact with media, as well as approvals such as FDA, USP Class VI, EU 2023/2006 (GMP), EU 10/2011, ADI-free, KTW (drinking water approval) and EU 1935/2004, providing a stronger documentation basis throughout the process.
Our experienced employees engage in technical sparring from needs assessment through to the finished solution, with a focus on tailoring hoses, fittings and assemblies to the specific media, temperatures and workflows in production.

FAQ
Which couplings are used in hygienic process plants?
In the food and process industry, tri-clamps, DIN/DS/SMS dairy connections and other hygienic stainless steel fittings are used, among others, to ensure cleaning-friendly and tight connections.
How does TESS support stable processes in food production
TESS helps create more stable and documentable processes through solutions tailored to media, temperatures, cleaning routines and the specific production.
What types of companies does TESS work with in the food and brewery segment?
TESS works with, among others, dairies, breweries, bakeries, slaughterhouses, cider houses, distilleries and wineries.
How does TESS work with documentation and traceability?
Documentation packages, working drawings, batch documentation and parts lists are prepared according to the customer’s own configurations and quality systems, with complete traceability of materials in contact with media.
What approvals and standards does TESS work with?
TESS works with, among others, FDA, USP Class VI, EU 1935/2004, EU 2023/2006, EU 10/2011, ADI-free and other relevant requirements for food-approved solutions and components.
How does TESS support hygiene requirements and CIP/SIP processes?
Solutions are tailored to cleaning processes, media and temperatures, with a focus on hygiene, ease of cleaning and stable operation over time. We deliver hoses crimped with ferrules. This results in fewer and tighter joints, reducing bacterial growth in and between the joints. Download our Food/Pharma catalog and read more here [link to upcoming catalog]
Can TESS tailor solutions to the individual production line?
Yes. Hoses, fittings, lengths and assemblies are configured according to the customer’s specific processes, workflows and installation requirements. Ferrules can be marked as desired, either with a unique TAG number or production line, and hoses can be labeled with colors or tags depending on production.
How does TESS help reduce uncertain links in production?
Technical sparring on material selection, lifespan, temperature and chemical exposure provides a better basis for stable solutions and fewer disruptions in production.
How does TESS work with material quality and lifespan?
Materials and components are selected with a focus on chemical resistance, temperature resistance, durability and long-term process stability in demanding environments. We mark hoses with their own unique number. Each number has a unique pressure test certificate specifying the date of production and pressure testing. We recommend that hoses be inspected once a year. Read more about TESS Hose Management here.
When does TESS typically get involved in the process?
TESS often contributes from needs assessment and technical sparring through to the finished solution and subsequent documentation.
