Chemical

Control over the most critical link

In the chemical industry, even minor faults can have consequences for operations, safety and the environment. Hoses often serve as the most flexible — and at the same time most vulnerable — link in the process. We deliver documented hose solutions, components and service for handling chemicals, CIP processes and cleaning, with a focus on traceability, resistance, pressure and the safe handling of media throughout the plant.

Less uncertainty in critical processes

TESS advises on the selection of hoses, couplings and components based on chemical resistance, temperature, pressure, ATEX conditions and applicable requirements, including FDA, 1935/2004 and 3.1 material certificates.

The work includes annual recertification of hoses, pressure testing, registration and documentation of installations. We also deliver PTFE-lined solutions, coated couplings, flame arresters, valves and loading arms for environments where both personal safety and environmental safety play a central role.

Documented compatibility

Materials, resistance and pressure are documented and assessed in relation to the specific medium and application.

01

How does TESS help reduce the risk of spills and downtime?

TESS delivers documented hose solutions with a focus on correct material selection, resistance, pressure, temperature and traceability, in order to reduce the risk of faults, leaks and unplanned stops in production.

02

Why are hoses a critical point in chemical process environments?

Hoses often function as mobile connections between installations and media, and are exposed to loads, movement and chemical impact. They therefore require ongoing monitoring, documentation and correct material selection.

03

How does TESS work with documentation and traceability?

TESS registers installations, pressure tests, recertifications and material data to create traceability and documentation throughout the solution’s lifetime.

04

Can TESS help with recertification of hoses?

Yes. TESS carries out annual recertification, pressure testing and inspection of hoses to support safe operation and documentation requirements in chemical process environments.

05

How does TESS select materials for chemical media?

TESS advises on the selection of hoses, couplings and components based on chemical resistance, temperature, pressure, electrical conductivity and the requirements set by the specific medium.

06

What types of solutions does TESS deliver to the chemical industry?

TESS delivers, among other things, chemical hoses, CIP hoses, PTFE-lined solutions, coated couplings, flame arresters, valves and loading arms for various process and handling environments.

07

How does TESS support compliance and regulatory requirements?

TESS works with solutions for environments with requirements including ATEX, FDA, 1935/2004 and 3.1 material certificates, to support safe handling and documented operation.

08

How does TESS support personal and environmental safety?

By combining correct material selection, documentation, pressure testing and ongoing monitoring, TESS helps reduce the risk of spills, faults and unintended incidents at the plant.
